All of our commissioners are appointed on a voluntary basis, bringing with them a passion and commitment to making a difference for Whitehaven Harbour, the town and its communities.
Each Commissioner is appointed on merit through an open recruitment process to provide the professional skills and experience to determine policy and to guide the business decisions of the organisation.
The Chief Executive and Commissioners will review the existing balance of professional skills and experience before advertising any vacancy.
Terms for Whitehaven Harbour Commissioners are three years and each person can usually serve up to three terms.
